Very walkable to downtown Golden. The house is a bit older as you can see from the pictures, but it is still spacious and comfortable. Can get cold inside if it is chilly out. The table on the front porch makes for a lovely place to sit in the morning.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The home was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable everything was exactly as described (if not better). You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. One thing we especially appreciated was how accommodating and responsive the host was throughout our stay. After a late night out at Red Rocks, they were kind enough to let us check out a bit later, which made a huge difference and really showed their level of hospitality. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area we would definitely come back again!

Kendra’s place was as described and conveniently located for everything I needed. It’s an older building, but the apartment is in good order and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. I would definitely stay again should my travels bring me back to the area.

Good stay for the week. Had everything needed. Only complaint is the hot water didn’t last long so I imagine if more than one person was here a lot of people would be taking cold showers. This was a perfect house for our family. The fenced-in grassy yard was especially nice for toddlers. The adjacent patio with a gas grill was great for the adults. The location, right on the clear creek trail, with a very short walk downtown, couldn’t be better. Parking for all three cars was easy. The view across the street is the Coors facility and some new construction with mountains/mesas looming above. Though not a classic nature view, it was all quite tidy and provided a lot of interest. The bathrooms and laundry room were in pristine condition. The living room was comfortable for a large group with very cushy chairs and couch. The bedrooms were well laid out, one downstairs being especially spacious with a good quiet workspace. The kitchen was clean and functional but is ready for an update. Overall we spent a very comfortable week in a beautiful town.

The unit looked exactly like the pictures showed. It is not anything luxurious(I wasn’t looking for that anyway) however it was really clean and had everything I needed. I think it was worth the price, I enjoyed the privacy of having my own kitchen and not sharing with others. I would recommend and stay again.

It was worth the price but literally the only thing was some unsavory folks lingering around outside that made me uncomfortable I’ve stayed in lots of places but I did feel a bit nervous, especially when I went for a walk and two guys came out of the park and were mumbling something at me.

Overall, this day was perfectly fine, the room was as advertised and perfectly clean, and the host was very responsive in the area was great and the neighbors (the unit is shared with permanent tenants) were very friendly.  However, given how small the units are and the fact that there are permanent tenants as well…this felt like somebody took low income housing and turned into a Airbnb.  This unit would be much better used helping somebody who needs a home but can’t afford much of one to get back on their feet… not serving people like me who just want to gallivant around Denver for a couple days.  So 3 stars cause for what it was it was honestly great, super clean and just the right size and the host was very easy to work with.  But I can’t give it more than that…this really shouldn’t be used as an Airbnb.

A good little affordable spot! I had an issue with my room not being cleaned when I checked in, but the host quickly sent over a cleaner and refunded the cleaning fee to make up for it. Other than that everything went smoothly and the location was great.

To put it simply, Kendra’s rental in Golden, CO was unacceptable. Just to name a few things from a laundry list of issues: faulty wiring, plumbing issues, no central heat, stained furniture, weird smells, etc.  The biggest and most frustrating concern was the faulty wiring. It is a MASSIVE fire hazard and caused the breaker box to trip several times. The house had no central heating and only had space heaters. Which caused the whole house to shut down. You couldn’t even have a light and a fan on at the same time. Originally, we were not supposed to stay here. But due to a water leak at a different location, Kendra moved us here. I’d like to think the other would have been better. But with the way Kendra runs this rental and deals with issues brought to her attention, I highly doubt it. I’m not one to try and harm someone’s business. However, this was simply not safe for anyone to stay in. Especially if you have elderly people, children, or in my case, a pregnant wife with you.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I think it’s important to share my experience so others know what to expect, and hopefully this feedback encourages improvements. My boyfriend and I had a very frustrating check-in experience. The entry code provided was incorrect, and after multiple attempts to call with no response, we eventually received a text with a new code. This delayed us by about 45 minutes after a long day of travel, which was stressful and disappointing. Unfortunately, the space itself didn’t live up to expectations either. A dirty wash rag had been left in the shower, the room smelled musty and moldy, and it felt like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The space was also much smaller than it appeared in the listing photos, which was a letdown considering the price. The photos online were beautiful, but in person the space felt like a worn-down version, outdated and not well maintained. For the cost, it simply didn’t feel worth it. I truly hope the host takes t
